Meet The Doctor

I’m Dr. Alok Trivedi.  Thank you for visiting our site and learning a little bit about decompression therapy.  It is in my opinion the greatest treatment around for lower back pain and cervical pain. 

After graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic I was ready to set the world on fire. I wanted to help every single person that I ever met, and the scary thing was that I honestly thought I could.  I got humbled.  Within my first year of practice I began to find cases that I wasn’t able to help with the regular routine of chiropractic care or physical therapy.  I would have to send these patients to either pain management or surgeons. 

This became a huge problem for me because I began to see that I was becoming part of the problem, rather than the solution.  I was simply referring people to other doctors to help mask their symptoms. This isn’t why I became a doctor, I wanted to help people get to the cause and correct the cause of their problems. 

I began doing some research and learned about spinal decompression therapy.  I thought it really sounded too good to be true.  I went and visited 5 different doctors from California to Boston and they all had the same response for me, “it works!”  I was sold, I invested in our first decompression machine and began treatments on my mother. Bless her heart she had been suffering lower back problems for years.  Within 2 weeks I saw my mother playing with her granddaughter like I had never seen before.  I was convinced that I had something that could make a difference in people’s lives, and a big difference.

My healing philosophy is pretty simple.  Life is meant to be lived, not sit in front of the television rotting away.  My idea is to get back to doing the things that you had always dreamed of doing, that is what makes life worth living.

I have no documented research on this fact but I think that the number one side effect of chronic lower back or neck pain is depression. I have seen way too many people that question the purpose of living if it has to be in severe pain. 

I have been trained by one of the people that helped to create the first decompression machines and have seen so many people restore life and their will to live again because of this treatment.  That is what makes me get up and come to the office every morning. It’s honestly that simple for me.

How do I get started?

Contact our office at 847-658-9544 to schedule an initial consultation with the Doctor to determine your individual situation. Medical Evaluation and Diagnostic testing procedures should be performed prior to beginning any treatment in order to determine the most effective process. After carefully studying your case history and exam findings, the Doctor will sit down and explain his recommended plan of action for you. After answering any questions you may have about the recommended plan, you may begin your care.
